June 16-21, 2024 Guangzhou, China

Presentation Guidance

ORAL PRESENTATIONS:

Oral presentations (not including plenary and keynote lectures) are 20 minutes in length. It is recommended that your presentation last approximately 15 minutes in order to provide ample time for questions afterward.

Presenters do not need to bring their own PC, as a Windows based laptop with Internet access will be installed at the session room. Presenters will need to upload their PPT to the computer of their respective lecture room in the morning of their presentation or one day before, to ensure fluidity between sessions. Although the PC will have Internet access, it is advised that presenters bring their PPT on a USB in the case that Internet access is lost.

All presentations need to be in either PowerPoint (PPT) or PDF format, and titled correctly: “DayofPresentation-AuthorLastname.FileFormat”

  • Example: “Monday-Zhang.ppt”

  • Example: “Tuesday-Zhang.pdf”

POSTER PRESENTATIONS:

Poster Night is scheduled on Tuesday (June 18) from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, at the White Swan Hotel. Presenters can choose to set up the posters at 5:00-6:00 pm Tuesday, or during coffee breaks on Monday and Tuesday. Fixers will be provided to all poster presenters at the congress. The posters can be displayed throughout the conference. Drinks and appetizers will be made available for the duration of the reception.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Posters must be in A0 size in portrait orientation (84.1 cm wide × 118.9 cm height).

For students and early career researchers, our sponsors are generously contributing some great prizes for the Best Oral and the Best Poster Presentations! An esteemed panel of judges will be appointed by the committee to ask difficult questions. So please give this ICMCF your best shot!
